Job summary

CSI International Inc. is seeking a GMP Cleaner to support a manufacturing facility. The role requires prior cleaning experience in manufacturing, strong organizational skills, and energy to deliver high-quality service.

Training is provided to meet GMP standards, with responsibilities covering general cleaning, safety, and documentation. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of cleaning experience, 6–12 months of advanced cleaning skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of manufacturing cleaning experience.
• 6 months to 1 year of advanced cleaning skills (hard floor, carpet maintenance).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently or with a team.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. with E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and perform daily/periodic cleaning tasks as directed.
• Maintain clean work areas, storage spaces, and equipment in good condition.
• Wears appropriate PPE and adheres to safety procedures.
• Support orientation/training of new staff and assist with GMP documentation.
• Clean floors, restrooms, empty trash, and ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Report problems to management and perform other cleaning duties as assigned.

What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for a responsible and quality-driven GMP Cleaner to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting a manufacturing facility; specialized training will be required. To work well in this role, you should already have previous manufacturing cleaning experience and some advanced cleaning skills as well. The successful candidate will possess high levels of energy, strong organizational skills, and pride in delivering excellent service.

GMP Cleaner Responsibilities

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Performs daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas
• Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition, and notifies the Manager or Supervisor if repair or replacement is necessary
• Maintains appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas
• Works safely at all times and promptly informs management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area
• Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed
• Assists in orientation and training for new employees as directed
• Adheres to proper security procedures
• Notifies management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the customer
• Performs other cleaning-related duties as required
• Proper GMP documentation, including good penmanship
• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Cleaning and stock restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.

GMP Cleaner Requirements

• 2-3 years of previous manufacturing cleaning experience required.
• 6 months to 1 year of advanced cleaning skills, such as hard floor and carpet maintenance, required.
• Ability to speak, write and read English is preferred and may be required by some customers.
• Attention to detail

• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Able to work independently or with a team.
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
