Job summary

CSI International, Inc. is seeking a responsible GMP General Cleaner for the PM shift at our Summit facility. The role supports a manufacturing environment with cleaning duties and adherence to SOPs, quality, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of manufacturing cleaning experience, strong organization, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a full-time, on-site position in Summit, NJ.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of manufacturing cleaning experience required.
• 6 months to 1 year of advanced cleaning skills (hard floor and carpet maintenance).
• Ability to speak, write and read English is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. – E-Verify used.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Performs daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas.
• Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition and reports repairs.
• Maintains appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas.
• Works safely and informs management about unsafe conditions.
• Wears personal protective equipment as required.
• Assists in orientation and training for new employees as directed.
• Adheres to proper security procedures.
• Notifies management about problems or opportunities affecting service.
• Performs other cleaning-related duties as required.
• General cleaning of the building and upkeep (vacuum, sweep, mop).
• Clean and stock restrooms; empty trash/recycling bins.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean spills with appropriate equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for a responsible and quality-driven GMP Cleaner to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting a manufacturing facility; specialized training will be required. To work well in this role, you should already have previous manufacturing cleaning experience and some advanced cleaning skills as well. The successful candidate will possess high levels of energy, strong organizational skills, and pride in delivering excellent service.

GMP Cleaner Responsibilities:

• Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed
• Assists in orientation and training for new employees as directed
• Adheres to proper security procedures
• Notifies management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the customer
• Performs other cleaning-related duties as required
• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
