Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, Indiana, is seeking a Maintenance Planning & Materials Manager to lead the site’s maintenance work management, planning, scheduling, CMMS governance, and MRO inventory strategy. The role drives reliability, GMP compliance, and cost optimization while leading PM, CMMS, and MRO teams.

The successful candidate will guide performance metrics, collaborate across functions, and own shutdown planning and vendor coordination in a fast‑paced pharma manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or Business, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years of maintenance planning, reliability, or maintenance experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the site’s preventative maintenance work management process, including planning, scheduling, prioritization, execution tracking, and continuous improvement.
• Lead maintenance scheduling meetings and coordinate priorities across Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Establish governance for maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
• Develop and report KPIs including PM compliance, schedule compliance, backlog, emergency work, wrench time, labor utilization, and planning effectiveness.
• Ensure CMMS data integrity, asset hierarchy governance, PM optimization, and master data management.
• Provide strategic maintenance performance updates to site leadership.
