Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking GMP cleanroom cleaning technicians to uphold strict GMP standards in pharmaceutical environments. You will perform routine cleaning and sanitization, maintain specialized equipment, and document all activities in compliance with SOPs.

Role requires reading and brief English proficiency, experience in GMP settings, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Training on GMP practices and safety protocols is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and comprehend basic English.
• Previous GMP/cleanroom cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in controlled environments.
• Lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies as needed.
• Ability to wear cleanroom garments and PPE for extended periods.
• Work in cleanroom environments with controlled temperature, humidity, and cleanliness levels.
• May involve working flexible hours to accommodate cleanroom usage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of GMP areas / cleanrooms, ensuring they meet GMP cleanliness standards.
• Clean and maintain specialized cleanroom equipment, including sterilization and decontamination procedures.
• Accurately record cleaning activities, including dates, times, and cleaning agents used, in GMP documentation requirements.
• Ensure adherence to GMP regulations, SOPs, and safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
• Monitor and report any potential contamination or deviations from cleanliness standards to supervisory staff.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring they are readily available for use.
• Wear appropriate PPE per SOPs, including cleanroom garments, gloves, and masks, to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with GMP/cleanroom operators, engineers, and QA personnel to coordinate cleaning schedules and address issues.
• Stay updated on GMP/cleanroom cleaning techniques, equipment, and GMP regulations through ongoing training and education.
• 7am-3:30pm MF
