Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking GMP Cleanroom Cleaning Technicians to maintain sterile, compliant cleanroom environments in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, equipment upkeep, meticulous documentation, and adherence to GMP/SOPs. The role requires basic English, ability to work 7am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, and prior GMP cleanroom experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and comprehend basic English.
• Previous GMP/cleanroom cleaning experience or similar roles.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and cleanroom protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of GMP areas/cleanrooms, meeting GMP standards.
• Clean and maintain specialized cleanroom equipment and perform sterilization/decontamination procedures.
• Accurately record cleaning activities with dates, times and agents used per GMP docs.
• Adhere to GMP regulations, SOPs and safety protocols while cleaning.
• Monitor and report potential contamination or deviations to supervision.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure availability.
• Wear cleanroom PPE and garments to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with GMP operators, engineers and QA to coordinate schedules.
• Stay updated on GMP/cleanroom techniques and regulations through training.

Job Summary

GMP Cleanroom Cleaning Technicians play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and compliance of cleanroom environments within a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) facility. They are responsible for ensuring that cleanrooms meet the strict cleanliness and sterility standards required in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device manufacturing.

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of GMP areas / cleanrooms, ensuring they meet or exceed GMP cleanliness standards.
• Clean and maintain specialized cleanroom equipment, including sterilization and decontamination procedures.
• Accurately record cleaning activities, including dates, times, and cleaning agents used, in compliance with GMP documentation requirements.
• Ensure adherence to GMP regulations, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
• Monitor and report any potential contamination or deviations from cleanliness standards to supervisory staff.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring they are readily available for use.
• Wear appropriate PPE per SOP’s, including cleanroom garments, gloves, and masks, to prevent contamination while working in GMP/cleanroom environments.
• Collaborate with GMP/cleanroom operators, engineers, and quality assurance personnel to coordinate cleaning schedules and address cleaning-related issues.
• Stay updated on GMP/cleanroom cleaning techniques, equipment, and GMP regulations through ongoing training and education.
• 7am-330pm MF
• Ability to read, write and comprehend basic English.
• Previous experience in GMP/cleanroom cleaning environment or similar type roles.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and cleanroom protocols is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in a controlled environment.
• Lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies as needed.
• Ability to wear cleanroom garments and PPE for extended periods.
• Work in cleanroom environments with controlled temperature, humidity, and cleanliness levels.
• May involve working flexible hours to accommodate cleanroom usage schedules.

Harvard is offering a competitive salary structure $24.00 p/h including benefit package with medical, dental, life, and long-term disability (LTD) insurance along with 401K Savings Plan.
