Job summary

Abzena Inc. is seeking a GMP Facility Services Associate to perform cleaning, disinfection, sanitation, and room-readiness activities within our classified GMP manufacturing areas.

The role executes approved procedures and completes associated controlled documentation to ensure production spaces remain safe, compliant, organized, and ready to support scheduled manufacturing operations. The associate works closely with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Materials Management, Warehouse Operations,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in GMP cleaning, pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing, cleanroom operations, sanitation, warehouse operations, or a related regulated environment preferred.
• Reading and following SOPs, cleaning schedules, labels, safety data sheets, and work instructions with accuracy.
• Ability to perform basic calculations and measurements related to cleaning agents after training.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, organization, and ability to report errors or abnormal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, campaign, turnover, and periodic cleaning and disinfection of GMP areas per SOPs and schedules.
• Prepare and use cleaning agents and disinfectants, maintaining safety data sheets and contact times.
• Complete cleaning records, logbooks, checklists, labels, and documentation accurately.
• Inspect areas before/after cleaning and report damage, residue, leaks, pests, shortages, or errors.
• Maintain tools and segregation between classified/process/non-classified areas.
• Clean, store, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies; notify shortages or expiring materials.
• Follow cleanroom behavior, gowning, material-transfer, waste-removal, and access-control requirements.
• Support internal and client audits, regulatory inspections, and special cleaning activities.
• Participate in shift handoffs, daily scheduling, and communication of room-readiness status.
• Provide trained support within manufacturing and warehouse spaces as needed, including turnover and material staging.
