Job summary

CSI International, Inc. is seeking a responsible GMP General Cleaner to join our Summit, NJ facility. This role supports a manufacturing environment with strict SOP adherence and quality-driven cleaning tasks.

You will perform routine cleaning, maintain equipment and supplies, and follow safety protocols. The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing cleaning experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, and works well both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of manufacturing cleaning experience.
• 6 months to 1 year advanced cleaning skills such as hard floor and carpet maintenance.
• Ability to speak, write and read English is preferred and may be required by some customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. – We Use E-Verify

Responsibilities

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Performs daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas.
• Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition, and notifies the Manager or Supervisor if repair or replacement is necessary.
• Maintains appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas.
• Works safely at all times and promptly informs management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area.
• Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed.
• Assists in orientation and training for new employees as directed.
• Adheres to proper security procedures.
• Notifies management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the customer.
• Performs other cleaning-related duties as required.
• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Cleaning and stock restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.
