Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a GMP Cleaner to perform cleaning and sanitation in GMP-controlled environments including cleanrooms, laboratories, and production areas.

This role ensures compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and safety regulations while maintaining meticulous records and logs. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow detailed procedures, and the stamina to work in controlled settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior GMP/pharma/cleanroom experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP standards and cleaning validation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to wear PPE for extended durations.
• Work environment includes controlled settings such as cleanrooms, laboratories, and production areas.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals with protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of GMP-controlled areas such as cleanrooms, laboratories, and production spaces.
• Follow all GMP, SOP, and safety protocols during all cleaning activities.
• Use approved cleaning agents and disinfectants according to established guidelines.
• Maintain accurate cleaning logs and documentation.
• Handle and dispose of waste in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Adhere to gowning procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
• Identify and report any contamination risks, deviations, or safety concerns immediately.
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to ensure compliance.

A day in the life:

The GMP Cleaner is responsible for performing specialized cleaning and sanitation within controlled environments, including cleanrooms, laboratories, and production areas.
