Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Cleaner to perform basic cleaning across common areas, restrooms, entrances, and offices. The role includes operating cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and following safety guidelines.

Multiple shifts and both full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities are available. Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience preferred, strong communication, reliable transportation, and the ability to meet physical demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred
• Capable of performing physical demands (bending, lifting, standing)
• Willing to work assigned hours and shifts

Responsibilities

• Clean all basic areas including restrooms, entrances, and common spaces
• Sanitize and restock restrooms and break rooms
• Empty trash, recyclables, and dispose waste properly
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors across all areas
• Operate cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums)
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Attend to spills and related cleanup as needed

A day in the life:

A Cleaner is responsible for basic cleaning, including cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trashing, dusting, polishing, and other assigned items/areas. We have multiple shifts available as well as both full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.

What you’ll do as an Exceptional Team Member

• Responsible for all basic cleaning
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly
• Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Performs additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns

What you’ll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member
