Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Research Associate to support GMP-compliant CAR T-cell manufacturing process development from leukapheresis through final product cryopreservation. You will execute hands-on cell therapy development activities using CliniMACS Plus, CliniMACS Prodigy, and other automated platforms, while maintaining aseptic conditions.

Qualifications

Master’s degree with 18 months of full‑time research experience.
Bachelor’s degree with 30 months of full‑time research experience.
Experience with GMP-compliant CAR T-cell manufacturing workflows.
Familiarity with CliniMACS Plus and CliniMACS Prodigy and related cell processing tools.

Responsibilities

Support development, optimization, and transfer of GMP-compliant CAR T-cell manufacturing processes from leukapheresis through final product cryopreservation.
Execute hands‑on cell therapy process development activities using automated platforms.
Perform laboratory studies to evaluate process performance, scalability, and transfer readiness.
Conduct analytical testing (flow cytometry, cell-based assays) and document results to support characterization and improvement.
