Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. in Durham, NC is seeking a Calibration Technician to calibrate instrumentation across GMP facilities, including temperature, RH, flow, pH, and pressure, in controlled clean rooms.

You will work with QA, manufacturing, and engineering to ensure instrument performance and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include supporting CAPA, deviations, and on-call coverage, troubleshooting with SOPs and CMMS, and assisting with on-site calibration projects for NPI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or higher in engineering, life sciences, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration of process equipment and instrumentation per SOPs and technical documents.
• Investigate deviations and CAPAs related to instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot with maintenance personnel on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic circuits.
• Provide on-call support to plant operations as required.
• Adhere to safety requirements and procedures.
