Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. is seeking a Calibration Technician to join a team that supports QA, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering and other groups. You will calibrate instrumentation (temperature, humidity, flow, pH, pressure, etc.) within a GMP facility and assist with CAPA and deviations.

The role involves on-call support, potential weekend or swing shifts, and requires a two-year degree with 3–6 years’ calibration experience in a pharma setting; familiarity with SOPs and CMMS is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and a two-year degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 3–6 years of metrology, instrumentation, or calibration experience or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with SOPs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Calibrate process equipment and instrumentation as required by SOPs and technical documents.
• Troubleshoot and assist with maintenance of facility systems; identify root causes.
• Assist with deviations and CAPA-related activities for instruments and equipment.
• Provide on-call support to plant operations and follow safety procedures.
