Job summary

Accupac is seeking an Associate Chemist to join our Mainland, PA team. You will perform chemical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using approved procedures, and operate HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, and FTIR instruments while ensuring cGMP documentation and calibration accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry or related science.
• 6 months to 1 year of chemical lab experience in a GMP environment.
• Familiarity with cGMP, GLP, LIMS, and TrackWise systems.
• Color vision required; must meet all physical demands of a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, routine, and non-routine chemical testing of raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods using approved procedures.
• Conduct physical and wet chemistry tests (e.g., titration, pH, viscosity, acid/sap value, density, LOD, refractive index).
• Operate laboratory instruments (HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, FTIR) and resolve issues with methods or equipment.
• Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation: notebooks, assay reports, and logbooks.
• Assure calibration, standardization, and cGMP compliance activities in the lab.
• Support environmental and validation sample testing.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of chemical analysis procedures.
