Job summary

Accupac, a maker of cosmetics and health products, is seeking an Associate Chemist. You will perform chemical testing of materials and products, operate HPLC/GC/FTIR, and ensure cGMP-compliant documentation and calibration.

The role spans routine to non-routine analyses in a GMP environment. Two levels (I and II) with 6 months to 2 years of GMP lab experience preferred; strong attention to detail and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or related science.
• 6 months to 1 year of chemical lab experience in a GMP environment.
• 1–2 years of chemical lab experience in a GMP environment.
• Working knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with cGMP, GLP, LIMS, and TrackWise systems.
• Color vision and ability to lift up to 40 lbs in lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, routine, and non-routine chemical testing of raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods using approved procedures.
• Conduct physical and wet chemistry tests (e.g., titration, pH, viscosity, acid/sap value, density, LOD, refractive index).
• Operate laboratory instruments (HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, FTIR) and resolve issues with methods or equipment.
• Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation: notebooks, assay reports, and logbooks.
• Assure calibration, standardization, and cGMP compliance activities in the lab.
• Support environmental and validation sample testing.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of chemical analysis procedures.
