Carl’s Jr. 247 in Escondido, CA is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead restaurant operations, deliver high quality food and guest service, and maximize satisfaction.

You will hire, train, and inspire team members, manage costs, ensure safety and sanitation, and drive local marketing to grow sales. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• 21 years of age.
• Experience working in quick service restaurants.
• At least 3 years of experience managing restaurant team members.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule on a full-time basis, including weekends.

Here’s What You’ll Need to Have

• Recruits, hires, and trains the restaurant team members following internal training specifications for each job position.


• Provides ongoing leadership and development to immediate management staff which may include but is not limited to, profit and loss statement accountabilities; food and labor costs; safety and sanitation; inventory management and control.


• Acts as a community representative and brand goodwill ambassador.


• Uses performance management tools and processes to ensure all team member performance appraisals are completed, with appropriate coaching, correction and counseling.


• Ensures that all state and federal safety guidelines are being followed.


• Ensures all appropriate sanitation guidelines are being followed.


• Ensures regular repairs and maintenance of the restaurant are performed in a timely manner.


• Handles the administrative tasks in daily operations which may include but are not limited to, the hiring and termination processes, invoicing, payroll, and cash handling.


• Performs regular line checks to maintain all product quality and operational standards are met.


• Takes responsibility for all cost and food inventories.


• Maintains appropriate safe food handlers permits for him/herself as well as the restaurant team members.
