Mercyhealth is seeking a Graduate Medical Education coordinator to support the Fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency programs in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. The role involves coordinating educational activities, schedules, evaluations, and accreditation processes to ensure ACGME compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and prior GME experience, with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy academic environment.
Coordinates educational activities (e.g., didactic conference schedule, Grand Rounds, etc.) that support the Fellowship Program's curriculum and adhere to ACGME requirements.
Provides guidance to residents/fellows on program and GME policies, and non-clinical aspects of the program. Coordinates creation, dissemination and monitoring of annual Fellowship rotation, clinic and call schedules; updates schedules periodically to maintain accuracy. Assists with same for the IM Residency Coordinates creation, dissemination and monitoring of resident/fellow, faculty, and program evaluations. Coordinates and/or supports accreditation activities - ACGME Site Visits, Internal Reviews, annual program reviews, etc. as needed. Manages Fellowship duty hour reports and supports reporting compliance; assists with same for the IM Residency. Assists in supporting compliance to GME policies and procedures and related departmental policies. Coordinates fellow recruitment and selection process and assists with same for the IM Residency. Assists the PD and faculty in planning, developing, and implementing residency/fellowship program quality improvement activities

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience working in a Graduate Medical Education environment preferred.
TAGME Certification Preferred
Passing the Driver's License Check and/or Credit Check (for those positions requiring).
Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check.
Must be able to follow written/oral instructions.
