Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an analytical Finance Analyst to support Graduate Medical Education (GME) budgeting, reimbursement, and financial reporting across the system and affiliated academic partners.

Responsibilities include overseeing Medicare/Medicaid GME reimbursement, month-end close, vendor invoicing, and collaboration with GME leadership, Reimbursement, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and affiliates to ensure accurate reporting and compliant, timely processing of GME

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or other relevant field of study.
• Minimum of three (3) years of financial, accounting, reimbursement, budgeting, or analytical responsibilities experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsabilités

• Support Medicare/Medicaid GME reimbursement processes.
• Budget preparation and monitoring.
• Invoice and payment processing.
• Month-end close activities.
• Financial reporting and audit support.
• Coordinate with GME leadership, Reimbursement, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and academic affiliates.

Healthcare finance experience

PeopleSoft / Epic / Strata familiarity

MS Office proficiency

Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement knowl

CPA certification or progress

Initiative and independent judgment
