Job summary

University of Louisville is seeking a Department Coordinator V for GME Institutional Accreditation. This role leads accreditation governance for 100 accredited programs, 400 training sites, and 750+ trainees, ensuring compliance and driving continuous quality across GME.

You will support the GMEC governance, AIR processes, and ADS updates while guiding special program reviews and PLA submissions, along with training and site-visit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Grade 5 (Hourly)

Responsibilities

• GMEC & Committee Governance: Manage the GMEC and subcommittees in full compliance with ACGME standards.
• Annual Institutional Review (AIR): Organize reporting and data compilation; facilitate submission to Dean and Medical Council.
• ADS Oversight: Manage annual ACGME ADS updates and provide expert consultation to programs.
• Special Program Reviews: Lead reviews per ACGME requirements and policies.
• PLA Management: Manage the new PLA submission on MedHub and guide approvals.
• Training & Professional Development: Design and deliver training for Program Directors and Coordinators.
• Site Visit & Visit Readiness: Prepare documentation for CLER visits and site visits; audit requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field
