Job summary

Riverstone Logistics (RLX) is hiring a General Manager to lead a client-based profit center with full accountability for team performance, operational execution, and financial results. This role focuses on building, developing, and retaining a high-performing team delivering exceptional service.

The GM will own the local client relationship, balance labor efficiency with cost management, and drive long-term profitability and growth through strategic leadership and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of warehouse, distribution, and/or supply chain operations with at least 3 years of managerial experience.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel.
• Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exhibit a professional manner when dealing with conflict.
• Ability to coach and develop employees.
• Must have reliable transportation to commute to the workplace and attend client meetings as necessary. This may involve traveling to various locations within the specific region for the client.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maintain the Company culture, purpose, and core beliefs through hands‑on training, effective onboarding, and selection of new Extra Milers within the location.
• Manage all people and operations leaders assigned to the local operation to ensure deliverables, business goals, and profitability are achieved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Responsible for consistently meeting and exceeding client service goals.
• Lead the profit center through change, whether internal or external, and ensure continuity in communication around expectations.
• Oversee weekly operator settlements based on set agreements to include back charge process and supplementation assessments.
• Maintain a professional appearance and set an example for employees.
