Job summary

Target is hiring to deliver a welcoming, efficient guest experience in our General Merchandise team at a Lincoln, CA store. Expect active assistance to guests, stock replenishment, price and sign adjustments, and smooth daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests at multiples of 10 ft/4 ft with a warm interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you; support team efforts and assist peers as needed.
• Handle cash registers as required and manage merchandise stocking, backroom organization, and price/signage tasks.
