Role Overview

You will lead business development with utilities and energy market aggregators to develop and facilitate participation in utility and energy programs, leveraging GM electric vehicles, V2X products, and stationary storage. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, your goal is to reduce costs and advance energy markets for GM’s energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage partnerships with utilities and energy market aggregators for managed charging, V2X, and storage programs.
• Build strategic relationships with utilities across the Midwest and West, facilitating executive-level meetings.
• Define next-generation V2X and distributed energy resource programs.
• Test new business models to maximize value of V2X and energy resources.
• Partner with product teams on vehicle-to-grid strategies and initiatives.
• Engage in policy forums and industry groups to promote vehicle-grid integration.
• Analyze energy market trends and develop strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5-7+ years in electric vehicle charging, energy management, or related fields, with utility experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of energy markets and utility programs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% within the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $98,900 - $177,000, based on experience and location. Includes bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.
