A leading automotive company is seeking a Business Development Lead to drive initiatives in the energy market, especially focused on electric vehicles and energy products. This role involves collaboration with multiple teams and external partners to promote energy market initiatives and improve customer accessibility to GM Energy products. The ideal candidate will leverage industry knowledge to lead strategic relationships and facilitate new business models.
Remote: This position does not require the employee to be on-site full-time. The employee’s role enables them to work remotely on a permanent basis.

The Role:
You will lead business development with utilities and energy market aggregators to develop new programs and facilitate participation in existing programs, focusing on GM electric vehicles, GM Energy V2X products, and stationary storage. You will collaborate with internal teams (Product, Sales, Delivery, PMO, Marketing, Legal, Policy) and external stakeholders (utilities, energy policymakers, industry partners) to promote energy market initiatives and reduce vehicle ownership costs.
