Job summary

Lum's Chevrolet GMC in McMinnville, OR is hiring a certified GM Technician to diagnose and repair all vehicle systems. The role requires 3+ years of technician experience and GM Certification, with responsibilities spanning engine, electrical, transmission, and braking diagnostics.

You will test drive, use diagnostic equipment, communicate with the Service Advisor, and provide accurate repair time estimates.

Qualifications

3+ years of Service Technician experience required.
GM Certification required.
A-level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.
Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
Basic computer skills and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical and brakes.
Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services.
Provide time estimates for additional repairs and execute warranty work per specs.
