Job summary

Winner Automotive Group in Wilmington, DE seeks a GM Certified Technician with transmission experience to diagnose complex drivability concerns and perform transmission repairs on GM vehicles. You will deliver high-quality maintenance with clean work and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience performing transmission overhauls and repairs.
• Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to consistently flag productive hours.
• Hands-on knowledge of vehicle systems and willingness to learn.
• Strong diagnostics from customer concern to fix.
• Clear communication with advisors/parts and clean documentation.
• Quality-focused execution: read ROs fast, work accurately, don’t cut corners.
• Time management and productivity: estimate work and keep jobs on track.
• Ownership mindset: work independently and take responsibility for results.

Responsibilities

• Perform transmission diagnosis, overhaul, and repair on GM vehicles.
• Diagnose fast and accurately to pinpoint root cause and build a repair plan.
• Deliver maintenance and repairs to a high standard—clean work, every time.
• Tackle electrical, HVAC, brakes, steering/suspension, and general repairs.
• Manage your bay efficiently—prioritize, stay organized, and keep jobs moving.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts to keep approvals clear.

THE DAY TO DAY

Perform transmission diagnosis, overhaul, and repair on GM vehicles

Diagnose fast & accurate to pinpoint the root cause and build a clear repair plan

Deliver maintenance and repairs to a high standard—clean work, every time

Tackle electrical, HVAC, brakes, steering/suspension, and general repairs

Manage your bay efficiently—prioritize, stay organized, and keep jobs moving

Coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts to keep approvals

THE RIGHT FIT
