Bayview Cadillac New Cars & Service, LLC is seeking a skilled GM Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain GM vehicles, including Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac models. The ideal candidate has solid technical knowledge, meticulous workmanship, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

You will perform routine maintenance, complex diagnostics, and warranty repairs following GM procedures and dealership standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive service technician
• Experience on GM vehicles preferred
• GM or ASE certifications preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Ability to use diagnostic scan tools, service information, and repair equipment
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and repair procedures
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Own tools if required by employer
• Ability to lift components and perform physical duties

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair GM vehicles per procedures
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on GM models
• Use GM diagnostic tools to identify issues
• Complete repair orders with findings, labor, and parts
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Keep up with GM service bulletins and recalls
• Participate in GM training and certifications
