About General Merchandise

Our experts focus on operations, process, and efficiency to ensure a consistent guest experience by managing product placement, stock levels, pricing, and signage. This includes leading inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and promotional activities across all GM areas, including Food & Beverage and Food Service. We also support efficient delivery through pick, pack, and ship fulfillment.

Role Benefits

The role offers a starting hourly rate of $19.25 USD, with a pay range of $19.25 - $28.90 USD per hour. Working at Target provides meaningful experiences, skill development, and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for guests, engaging authentically and understanding their needs
• Maintain knowledge of store tools, products, and services to assist guests effectively
• Ensure sales floor is properly zoned, stocked, signed, and priced
• Execute inbound, replenishment, and signing processes accurately
• Support operational procedures like planogram compliance and inventory management
• Operate power equipment safely if certified
• Follow safety policies and ensure a culture of ethical conduct and compliance
• Assist with guest services, including cashiering and digital fulfillment
• Perform other duties as needed based on business requirements
