Job summary

Blend Labs Inc. is hiring a General Manager to own Autopilot, Blend’s AI agent product for mortgage and lending operations. You will define agent scope, metrics, and productization strategies, partnering with AI engineering, customer teams, and GTM to deliver measurable outcomes.

You will lead roadmap decisions, commercial modeling, and rollout with executive visibility, ensuring compliance and trusted delivery across large lenders in the US.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product experience including leadership of an AI/automation product with commercial accountability.
• Domain experience in mortgage, home equity, or consumer lending operations.
• Strong instinct for agent and LLM product design: evaluation, prompt and tool design, human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Comfort with high accuracy and compliance requirements; earn trust from risk/ops stakeholders.
• Builder’s mindset; prototype, analyze data, use AI tools daily.
• Experience working with enterprise customers in discovery and pilots, turning wins into repeatable products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the in-product Autopilot roadmap, prioritizing features by impact on loan cycle time and productivity.
• Own Autopilot’s commercial model: pricing and packaging, and adoption at live customers.
• Translate learnings from customer engagements into generalized, productized capabilities.
• Define evaluation and quality framework for agent behavior: accuracy, guardrails, human-in-the-loop, auditability.
• Partner with AI engineering on model, tooling, and harness decisions; translate tech into outcomes.
• Collaborate with design partner customers in discovery, pilots, rollout, and feedback loops.
• Define Autopilot’s measurement and reporting to demonstrate value and inform pricing.
• Support GTM with positioning, demo narratives, and roadmap content for advisory board.
