Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Lab Technician for the Gluten Lab in Plymouth, MN. This contract-to-hire role focuses on ELISA testing, routine instrument maintenance, and quality control in a GMP/GLP environment. You will support cross-functional teams and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced lab.

The position requires a science degree and experience with ELISA, chemistry, and LIMS. Work is onsite Tuesday-Saturday, with a pay rate of $23.00/hr and potential conversion based on performance.

Qualifications

• 2-year or 4-year science degree in related field.
• Experience with ELISA in industry or coursework.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and LIMS.
• GMP/GLP experience preferred.
• Food testing environment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize workload and prioritize samples to meet deadlines.
• Execute ELISA testing with precision.
• Maintain instruments and troubleshoot as needed.
• Ensure QC and ISO standards compliance.
• Maintain a safe lab environment.
• Provide cross-functional support as needed.
• Demonstrate strong organization and independent decision making.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects with minimal guidance.
