Job summary

Actalent in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Lab Technician to support a quality-focused lab. You will maintain a clean, compliant environment, handle samples, operate equipment, and assist with testing to ensure GMP-compliant documentation and product quality.

This temporary 36-month contract offers exposure to pilot production and scale-up, hands-on data collection, and collaboration with QC, R&D, and production teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; chemistry degree preferred.
• GMP knowledge and strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Experience in laboratory documentation and data recording.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lab cleanliness and organization across development and pilot areas.
• Ensure GMP/SOP compliance and proper documentation of test methods.
• Document all activities legibly in GMP notebooks and forms.
• Manage lab material and reagent inventory with accuracy.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware.
• Coordinate samples for internal and external analysis and shipping as needed.
• Support pilot production and collect data for process improvements.
• Assist with sample shipping, testing, and batch manufacture support.
• Adhere to safety protocols and dispose of chemicals per guidelines.
