Job summary

Western Forest Products is seeking Production Laborers for the Calvert Division in Washington State. The role involves setting up the glue room, moving and inspecting boards, applying glue, and ensuring quality through torque checks and teamwork.

Shifts are Monday–Friday with some Saturdays, 6:00am–3:30pm. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with opportunities for growth and a long-term career within a team-focused, safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Reliable, steady work history with good attendance.
• Must follow standard safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up glue room for daily production needs;
• Push out previous days production;
• Apply glue to boards and move boards through the production line;
• Inspect boards for proper glue application;
• Lock up the beams with an air impact gun once glued;
• Torque beam to proper specs with a wrench;
• Communicate and work as a team during entire process;
• Maintain clean and organized workspace;
• Support other areas of operations as needed;
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand 90% of the time.
