Job summary

Boise Cascade's KF Lumber in Kettle Falls, WA is hiring an entry-level Production Laborer for on-site duties.

You'll perform general cleanup, remove debris, sort graded lumber from conveyors, and assist operators using shovels, hoses, brooms, and wheelbarrows.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, passing a UA drug screen and pre-employment physical, with shifts Mon-Fri days or four 10s, and pay at $23.25 per hour as part of Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to continuously stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, stoop, twist, climb, and reach above shoulders safely.
• Weight lifted may occasionally exceed 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications : Steady work history. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, stoop, twist, climb, and reach above shoulders safely. The weight required to be lifted each normal workday may occasionally exceed fifty (50) pounds at a time. Must be able to successfully pass a UA drug screen and pre-employment physical.

Preferred Qualifications : Steady work history in a production environment.

Shift Work : May be any shift depending upon the needs of the mill. Sawmill production is Mon-Fri days or swing; Planer production is four 10’s on days (Mon-Thurs), swing (Tues – Fri) or rotate ( Fri & Sat day shift, and Sun & Mon swing shift.) Cleanup/Security will include graveyard and weekends.

Compensation: $23.25/hr
