Job summary

GOLDEN WEST PACKAGING GROUP LLC is seeking a Gluer/Finishing Operator to operate gluing machines and related equipment in a folding carton plant. You will direct team members to maximize productivity, perform line clearances, and ensure quality cartons with minimal waste.

Responsibilities include setting up glue extrusion units, running carton lines, inspecting final products, and performing operator-level maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare jobs for Gluing, including line clearance and make-readies.
• Operate various glue machines, extrusion units, and case packers.
• Maintain waste reduction and ensure carton quality and correct batch counts.
• Perform operator level maintenance and routine preventive maintenance.
• Clean machines and keep the work area tidy and safe.
• Weigh waste, document on job tickets, and assist with line clearance.
