Job summary

Charles River is seeking candidates in the Ashland, OH area to supervise and coordinate study-related activities of research technical staff, ensuring protocol compliance and data integrity across nonclinical studies. The role involves calendar management, data review, and collaboration with multiple departments under GLP guidelines.

The position offers a pathway to contribute to safety assessment and drug development while adhering to SOPs, with a pay rate of $25.00/hr and location-based salary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) preferred.
• Experience: 2 years of related experience in a GLP environment. Experience with research and investigation procedures, techniques, and literature.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
• Certification/Licensure: None unless required by local government.
• Other: Ability to organize, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
• Must be authorized to work in United States without a sponsor visa now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates assignments to facilitate scheduling of study-related events on assigned studies to ensure protocol requirements are met.
• May perform peer reviews and QC as needed.
• Prepare and review study calendars from draft and final protocols and ensure all protocol-driven activities are scheduled.
• Monitors scientific projects and conduct of procedures per protocol and SOPs.
• Acts as liaison between technical staff, internal departments, and Study Director on assigned studies.
• Prepare study notebooks, organize study data, and review data generated by SPL.
• May perform limited technical activities as needed.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Coordinate ordering of study equipment and supplies.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
