Job summary

Danzer Veneer Americas in Darlington, PA is seeking a Sales/Product trainee to join our export sales team. This trainee role offers hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential sales skills in the wood industry.

You will learn about our products, assist senior staff with lead generation and closing sales during customer visits, and participate in meetings and demonstrations. Training can span 6–12 months depending on motivation and learning path.

Qualifications

• Interest in sales and business development in wood/veneer industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong negotiation skills.
• Customer service orientation with long-term relationships.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel 2-3 times annually and domestically ~25%.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Learn about the company's products and services to effectively promote and sell them.
• Assist the senior sales team in generating leads and closing sales with customer visits and follow-up.
• Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
