Woodgrain in Lawrenceville, GA seeks a Warehouse Lead Trainee to learn and oversee daily distribution center operations, from picking to inventory control, while coaching teammates and upholding safety.

This role builds from the ground up under the Distribution Manager, focusing on efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction. Ideal for recent grads or seasoned workers with a can-do attitude; heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence usually by e-mail.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the customer’s organization.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Warehouse Supervisor Trainee is responsible for learning and performing efficient and accurate daily operations of the Distribution Center. Our products include wood moldings, decorative trim, and other millwork accessories. This position will learn to oversee the daily activities of personnel, including motivating them to provide quality and efficient performance of their duties in a safe productive environment. The trainee will learn the business from the ground up! The job requires significant and continuous heavy lifting up to 50lbs, and the ability to build reliable and cohesive relationships with customers and other employees.
