Job summary

Security Bank of Kansas City is seeking a Wire Transfers & Payments Specialist to accurately process domestic and international wire transfers, ACH, and related electronic payments. This role supports customers, lenders, and Retail staff while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory rules.

Ideal for an early-career professional, the position requires attention to detail, integrity, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of banking, financial services, deposit operations, payment processing, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of domestic and international wire transfers, ACH, and other electronic payments strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers within established deadlines.
• Review wire requests for completeness and authorization.
• Verify customer and transaction information and perform required callbacks.
• Monitor wire queues, exceptions, and returns; resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with correspondent banks and customers to resolve payment issues.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails; ensure compliance with bank policies.
