Qualifications

• Hands-on, site‑level problem solving on welding, brazing, coating and leak‑proof joints.
• Ability to translate design for manufacturability into robust shop-floor processes.
• Experience driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost improvements.

Responsibilities

• Define and publish global joining/brazing and coating standards across all plants.
• Own the multi‑year technology roadmap and pilot emerging processes (robotic welding, brazing, leak testing, coatings).
• Deploy best practices across the plant network with rapid experimentation and scale success.
• Serve as liaison between product engineering and manufacturing to ensure design for manufacturability.
• Build technical capability through training, certification, and hands‑on mentoring.
• Spend majority of time on the plant floor (Gemba) solving high‑priority issues with urgency.
