Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Dallas is seeking a Vice President of Operations to provide strategic direction for all operational activities, driving growth and profitability while managing resources according to policy.

The role leads high‑performing teams, partners with sales, HR and finance, and oversees multi‑location operations in a client‑centric, warehouse‑based environment. This is a senior leadership position in the Solutions division located in Dallas.

Qualifications

Experience in client-centric operations with accountability for metrics and client relations.
10+ years in logistics operations with big box, ecommerce or specialty retailers.
5+ years as a regional operations leader managing multiple locations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Logistics; MBA preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of WMS.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement an operations strategy to improve cost control and margins.
Standardize practices, assess risk, and review key metrics.
Plan and execute start-up facilities for new business.
Lead teams and collaborate with clients to resolve issues.
Collaborate with Sales and Finance to support growth.
