Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Division Vice President of Operations to lead global, multi-site manufacturing and operations across the Advanced Medical Components unit.

You will shape safety, quality, manufacturing, maintenance, CI, engineering, and supply chain, aligning operations with strategic objectives. You will drive lean transformation, optimize capacity, and manage capital strategies while delivering sustainable growth, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in multi site plant management and operational leadership.
• Significant global manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive business experience, including at least 3 years in a comparable senior operational leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA or Master’s in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global operations spanning six U.S. plants, Mexico, and Taiwan, with direct responsibility for Plant Managers, Engineering leaders, and the Supply Chain organization.
• Define and execute Plant Operations strategies that support profitable growth, capacity expansion, and entry into new markets.
• Drive a culture of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, improving quality, reducing cost, and enhancing on time delivery.
• Own capital investment strategy and execution, ensuring ROI and strategic objectives.
• Assess, develop, and strengthen the Operations leadership team through objective talent evaluation and development.
