Job summary

Theron Partners Inc. in Omaha, NE is hiring a VP of Global Engineering to lead engineering for hosted SaaS applications across the US and ANZ markets. You will own platform and infrastructure engineering, automation, and the delivery pipeline, ensuring availability, performance, and security.

You will set strategy and standards, guide multi-region teams, manage incident and change processes, and partner with product, IT security, and executives to align capacity planning and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, or SaaS hosting.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams in multi-region environments.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, SOC 2, and NIST CSF frameworks.
• Proven ability to set strategy, governance, and metrics for availability and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global, multi-region engineering team and drive accountability.
• Own platform, automation, and delivery pipelines with strong release processes.
• Ensure availability, performance, and security across hosted environments.
• Define engineering strategy, standards, and architecture direction.
• Oversee incident/change management and root-cause analysis.
• Drive scale, resilience, and observability through IaC and automation.
• Collaborate with product, IT, and exec leadership on capacity planning.
