Job summary
Vertiv is seeking a VP, Controls and Software Management Systems to lead the global development and delivery of our controls and systems management software. Based onsite in Columbus, OH, you will drive the product strategy, roadmap, and cross-geo execution with product, services, and regional teams.
You will lead architecture, budget planning, and a centralized software organization to align hardware, firmware, and software platforms, while guiding R&D and market expansion to grow Vertiv's
Qualifications
- 18+ years of leadership experience in a global product business with engineering and product management reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Software, CS, or CE; MBA preferred.
- Experience with hardware/firmware control platforms and management software; Agile practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the global control and software strategy and roadmap.
- Manage department OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Collaborate with product and regional teams to build a 3-year revenue plan.
- Lead software architecture and cross-functional alignment across the business.
- Drive global messaging for controls and software across regions and markets.
- Oversee the controls catalog, software solution portfolio and product life cycle management.
