Job summary

Pure Earth is seeking a visionary Vice President of Communications to lead its global brand and external narrative from New York, coordinating a multinational team across the Americas, Africa, and Asia. You will shape the tone, voice, and visual identity while guiding stakeholder engagement and external partnerships.

Qualifications

• 15 years of progressive professional experience in a communications role.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership position in nonprofit, agency, or brand setting.
• Experience designing and executing global communications strategies in multiple markets, preferably including LMICs.
• Excellent background in cultivating strong media relationships.
• Extensive experience with data/analytics to drive communications outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy a cohesive global brand framework across markets and audiences.
• Lead an audience-centric integrated strategic communications plan to raise visibility of programs and priorities.
• Support and elevate Pure Earth leaders to cultivate high-level external relationships.
• Identify challenges and crises early and ensure preparedness and response capabilities.
