Job summary

Sphere Entertainment Co. is seeking a VP Construction to lead major development and construction projects globally from design through delivery.

You will coordinate internal Sphere teams, external designers, general contractors and subcontractors to achieve on-time, on-budget project delivery. The role requires a background in contracting or consultancy, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects across regions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Approximately 15 years of experience managing large-scale development and construction projects, ideally global or highly complex.
• Experience in contracting, consultancy, or client organizations with design, procurement and delivery of major projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
• Strong understanding of design, engineering, procurement, and construction processes.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills for collaboration across multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to fast-paced priorities.
• Experience overseeing staff and managing internal project teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead development and construction projects from concept through completion, aligning with Sphere's goals.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for global delivery.
• Lead coordination across internal teams, consultants, and external partners.
• Maintain oversight and monitoring through preconstruction and construction phases.
• Mitigate risks through proactive planning and issue resolution.
• Support strategic project planning to align with long-term objectives.
• Ensure stakeholder communication and reporting at all stages.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and delivery methodologies.
• Represent the Development and Construction team in global coordination efforts.
