Job summary

Lumentum Operations LLC seeks a strategic, global leader to guide its workplace and facilities portfolio. The Vice President will shape the strategy across photonics fabrication facilities, R&D labs, and corporate sites, ensuring safe, reliable, and scalable infrastructure that supports growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field.
• MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in facilities, engineering, manufacturing operations, or related functions, including significant executive-level responsibility.
• Experience leading global, multi-site facilities organizations supporting advanced manufacturing and technology environments.
• Significant experience in photonics or semiconductor manufacturing, advanced manufacturing facilities, cleanroom and laboratory environments, large-scale capital projects and infrastructure development.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing large operating budgets and multi-year capital investment programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global workplace and facilities strategy to support business growth and technology roadmaps.
• Lead global facilities operations, engineering, maintenance, and workplace services across manufacturing, R&D, and office locations.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of critical infrastructure including cleanrooms and utilities.
• Establish global standards, governance, KPIs, and best practices to drive operational excellence across sites.
• Develop long-range capacity plans and infrastructure roadmaps for manufacturing, laboratory, and workplace environments.
• Lead global capital planning and execution including site expansions, upgrades, construction, and renovations.
• Oversee project delivery with focus on safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Establish EHS policies and ensure regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture.
• Drive sustainability, energy management, business continuity, and risk mitigation programs across the global footprint.
• Manage global facilities operating and capital budgets and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Lead strategic supplier relationships and facilities-related contracts.
