Job summary

Waymo is seeking an experienced Vendor/Program Manager to lead outsourcing initiatives across global supplier networks. You will shape governance, contract workflows, and transition plans while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive value and risk management.

The role combines strategy, operations, and negotiations in a hybrid US-based environment with 50% travel, and offers a base salary range of $190,000 to $234,000 plus a discretionary bonus and equity program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years with program/vendor management in operations, strategy, and planning.
• 5+ years of Business process outsourcing experience
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with experience in applying project management tools

Responsibilities

• Maintain and execute comprehensive vendor strategy aligned with Waymo's roadmap and objectives.
• Provide vendors with access, tools, data, resources, and support from Waymo teams.
• Develop programs that facilitate smooth interactions with vendors and stakeholder teams.
• Manage contract workflows and ensure best practices are integrated and shared across Ops.
• Establish and maintain governance framework to ensure compliance and risk management.
• Understand and manage exception handling for off nominal requirements or special events.
