Job summary

Mammotome, a Danaher operating company, located onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks an Upstream Global Product Manager, Medical Device. Drive growth by turning customer and market insights into portfolio strategy and development priorities.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to shape investment decisions, launch plans, and lifecycle management, delivering meaningful value to clinicians, patients, and the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, sales, engineering, life sciences, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in product management or related roles in medical devices or life sciences.
• Experience gathering customer/clinical/market insights and translating into product requirements.
• Experience partnering across functions such as Sales, R&D, Operations, and Finance.
• Experience contributing to product strategy, development, commercialization, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Lead market discovery and Voice of Customer research to identify unmet needs, evaluate market dynamics and emerging technologies, and translate insights into prioritized growth opportunities for assigned products.
• Define and advance product and portfolio strategy by developing roadmaps, assessing market opportunities, shaping pricing recommendations, and building business cases that guide investment prioritization and portfolio expansion.
• Own commercial leadership throughout product development by representing customer and market requirements, partnering with R&D and cross-functional teams through tollgates, and helping ensure solutions deliver meaningful clinical, customer, and business value.
• Lead global positioning and commercialization strategy by creating differentiated value propositions, messaging, launch plans, sales enablement, and training while partnering with regional and commercial teams to support effective market activation.
• Optimize lifecycle performance and portfolio health by monitoring relevant business and customer metrics, identifying opportunities to improve adoption, revenue, profitability, and satisfaction, and informing sustaining and end-of-life decisions.
