Job summary

Baxter International is seeking a Global Upstream Product Manager in the Cardiology global business unit. You will plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end software-based diagnostic products, aligning them from concept through launch, sustainment, and discontinuation.

You will partner with engineering, commercial marketing, service, regulatory, quality, and sourcing to drive growth while understanding market size, segments, and pricing. Some travel is expected as part of global responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, or equivalent.
• MBA preferred.
• 5–7 years of product management/upstream marketing experience in medical devices or related fields.
• Preferred experience with software based medical devices.
• Proven go-to-market and product launch excellence.
• Deep experience with product life cycle management.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of upstream/downstream processes.

Responsibilities

• Drives the go-to-market strategy for the portfolio of covered products.
• Partners with regional marketing teams to support product launches and portfolio management.
• Develops product insights by understanding customer needs and workflows to grow market share.
• Gains market understanding: size, segments, pricing, dynamics, competition.
• Supports clinical evidence generation in partnership with medical affairs.
• Maintains and drives short, mid, and long-term product strategy and vision.
• Works with Agile Release Train to inform scope and organize initiatives.
• Maintains cross-functional roadmap alignment across engineering, service, regulatory, quality, and sourcing.
• Develops business cases with finance for ongoing and new investments.
• Provides leadership input on product costs, pricing, and margin.
