Job summary

Redwire Defense Tech is seeking a Vice President, Defense Tech Global Product Support & Operations to lead the operational readiness, sustainment, and customer experience of a worldwide fleet of unmanned aircraft systems, including Stalker and Penguin families and related payloads.

The role oversees global support for fielded UAS, ensuring customers can operate, maintain, deploy, and employ their systems throughout their lifecycle while driving improvements in reliability and mission success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of aerospace/defense/UAS fleet experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or related field.
• Experience with US and allied military customers.
• Experience managing a globally installed fleet of aircraft or similar defense product.
• Experience leading field service across multiple locations and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global support enterprise for Redwire Defense Tech’s worldwide fleet of unmanned aircraft systems.
• Oversee U.S.-based support for the Stalker fleet and Latvia-based support for the Penguin fleet.
• Ensure customers can operate, deploy, and employ UAS systems throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain accountability for global fleet readiness, support, maintenance, and training.
• Develop organizational structure, processes, and regional support infrastructure for expanding fleets.
• Serve as a conduit between operators, engineering, and production teams for improvements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent military/industry experience
