Job summary

AAA Elk Grove is seeking a Travel Advisor to deliver exceptional travel sales and member service. You will tailor AAA products to create memorable vacation experiences and manage full end-to-end bookings.

Candidates should have 3+ years of general sales, a high school diploma, and knowledge of travel products. The role requires in-branch work, weekend availability, and proficiency with GDS systems and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of general sales experience.
• Preferred: 3+ years selling international and domestic travel services.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages the member relationship from start to finish of each travel transaction.
• Sells international and domestic vacation packages, cruises, tours, hotel, car, rail and air travel.
• Initiates contact with members, past customers, and prospects to generate new business.
• Maintains production goals in travel sales and proprietary products.
• Cross-sells products such as credit cards and memberships.
• Researches and matches partner packages to member needs for exceptional experiences.
• Keeps up with world events and travel industry trends to advise members.
• Responds to travel-related questions/ complaints and offers solutions.
• Acts as a consultant to tailor products and services for memorable vacations.
• Handles ticketing and primary member servicing; ensures compliance and documents.
