Job summary

McKinsey & Company in the United States (Newark area) is seeking a Regional Travel Coordinator who will partner with local offices and our Travel Management Company to deliver superior traveler experiences and policy compliance.

You will drive global and regional travel initiatives, manage supplier relationships for air, hotel, and car rental, and address service and contractual matters to optimize outcomes for McKinsey's travelers and operations.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and demonstrable intellectual curiosity through professional training, advanced degree or professional impact.
• 5+ years of relevant corporate travel experience in North America, GDS knowledge is a plus.
• Demonstrated record of impact in previous roles.
• Ability to thrive in a complex organization.
• Distinctive expertise and problem-solving skills, demonstrated through impact on complex, sensitive, time-critical issues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Regional Travel Manager to identify and address service-related issues and improve service support.
• Address policy compliance and influence behaviors to ensure policy adherence; work with finance, tax, and payment teams to resolve issues.
• Support and drive global and regional travel initiatives and identify gaps to drive continuous improvement in operations.
• Work with Travel Category Managers on supplier relationships for air, hotel, and car rental; align with broader travel goals.
